        • OTOH means “On the other hand” or “however” . We can use “On the other hand” or “however” to introduce the other side of the argument. For example,

Do you want to live in a place with four seasons or one season?

I prefer to live in a place with one season than with four seasons because I love summer weather and hate cold weather. For example, when I was a boy, I loved baseball. Baseball is a warm weather sport and is difficult to play in cold weather. Also, I grew up near the ocean, and swimming and beaches were a big part of my happiness. I feel at home when I see blue water.

On the other hand, four seasons can be nice because change breaks up the sameness. I do enjoy the first two weeks of the change of every season from the colors of autumn leaves and the first snowflakes of winter to the return of the singing birds in Spring. Taken as a choice though, I prefer one season of my favorite season to four with two weeks of enjoyment.
